Mr Wilson comes to visit

In July 1969, the Prime Minister, Harold Wilson, came to visit the Forestry Commission's operations at Culbin.  Mr Wilson who had flown into RAF Kinloss was accompanied by the Secretary of State for Scotland, Willie Ross.  He was received by Dr WJ Lyon Dean, Convener of the Joint Moray and Nairn County Council and by Brigadier JA Grant Peterkin, Convener of Moray County Council.

Culbin: the disappeared village is a partnership between the School of Creative and Cultural Business at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen and Moray Council Libraries and Information Services. 
It has been funded as part of Scotland's Year of Stories 2022.
